Le Dauphin: the new restaurant by Inaki Aiziparte
• 1 mar, 2011 • Catégorie: 巴黎时刻, 餐厅 •Opened a few months ago, the new restaurant by Inaki Aiziparte and Fred Peneau, famous duet of the ephemeral bistro Chateaubriand, has already created the buzz. Truth be told, Le Dauphin certainly pulled all the stops with a white marble bar, a U-bend counter and wavy mirrors, designed by Dutch architect Rem Khoolhaas and French Clément Blanchet. With marble from floor to ceiling and on the walls, the setting of Le Dauphin is as good as the cuisine. If they don’t whet your appetite, the mysterious names on the menu are likely to catch your attention. Don’t hesitate, just go for it and you’ll only be satisfied! However, if it all makes your head swim, stick to ink risotto, dried magret and chocolate and saffron pot. It’s a safe bet for beginners at sea, as fresh as it might be!
Le Dauphin is open everyday from 12 to 2 pm and from 7.30 to 11 pm.
Rates: A la carte, allow around 40€. Lunch set menus at 23€ and 27€.
